Access through the
Department of Veterans Affairs
Dauntless provides psychology and occupational therapy (OT) to eligible veterans through DVA funding. Our team understands the DVA referral process and can guide you through it.
Available in Maclean, NSW or via telehealth.
DVA uses a treatment cycle: one GP referral covers up to 12 sessions or one year, whichever comes first. If you need more, your GP can refer you for another cycle. You can see a psychologist and an OT at the same time, each under their own referral.
We offer in-person and telehealth appointments, and in some cases a clinician can travel to you. Get in touch to see what's available near you.
Access in 3 easy steps
01
Check your eligibility
Confirm which Veteran Card you hold and, if it's a Specific Conditions card, which conditions are accepted. You can check through your MyService account or by contacting DVA.
02
See your GP for a referral
Ask for a referral to psychology, OT or both. The referral must name the type of service. Request for your referral to be sent to Dauntless.
03
Book
Once we receive your referral, our team will contact you to arrange your first appointment and get your support underway. Alternatively you can contact our team.
